Personal data that you provide voluntarily, for instance your contact details, will be
collected and processed when you visit our website. This data may be provided on our
contact form, in the job applications tool and elsewhere.

The purpose of this data processing is to ensure the availability of our website, its
functions and content, as well as to respond to requests for contact,
e.g. using the online job applications tool.

When we receive contact requests on the job applications tool, we reserve the right to
forward them to our IT department to perform a scan for malicious code/malware.

Our website uses the encryption standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This means that
data is transferred between the provider’s server and the user’s computer in an
encrypted form in order to guarantee security of data transmission.

The security of the data that you transfer to us online cannot be guaranteed to 100%.

Legal grounds and purpose of the data processing

First and foremost, the purpose of data processing is to establish an employment
relationship. The main legal grounds in this regard are set out in Art. 88 GDPR in
conjunction with Section 26 subsection 1 Data Protection Act (BDSG). Your data is
processed for the exclusive purpose of filling the vacancy for which you have submitted
your application. In this regard, for an assessment of your capability to satisfy your work
responsibilities, it may be necessary to process your health data according to Art. 9
paragraph 2 point (h) GDPR in conjunction with Section 22 subsection 1b) BDSG.

As a rule, your data will be collected directly from you during the applications process, in
particular in application documents, job interviews and in staff questionnaires as
applicable. We are also entitled to obtain data from third parties (e.g. intermediaries) and
publicly accessible sources (e.g. professional networks). We may process the following
personal data during the applications process:
